
New Business Group Rolled Out By Accenture With VMware

Accenture and VMware announced an expanded partnership and the launch of a dedicated business group for helping organizations in adopting a ‘Cloud First’ strategy on Thursday.
It is supported by almost 2,000 Accenture cloud professionals who are trained in VMware products and services. The Accenture VMware Business Group will help clients in tapping into the powerful capabilities and elasticity of cloud technology.
The new group formed is a part of Accenture Cloud First, which Accenture launched in 2020 with $3 billion investment in new abilities, solutions, partnerships, and client engagements for helping clients in shaping, moving and operating their business in cloud.
The Chief Executive Officer of Accenture, Julie Sweet said, “Cloud is the single most powerful tool for mastering change. While organizations accelerate their move to the cloud and edge over the next few years, the group formed will help in delivering the speed, scale, and security they require for fundamentally reinventing their business and create more value.”
The Accenture-VMware Business Group will invest in joint go-to-market and sales operations, training of more Accenture practitioners in VMware technologies and the development of new service offerings assets, and accelerators underpinned by VMware technologies.
Accenture and VMware will also develop pre-engineered vertical industry solutions which include a platform for helping telecommunication companies accelerating their rollout of 5G and edge computing services.
The Chief Executive Officer of VMware, Pat Gelsinger, said, “For aligning the demands of present days’ unprecedented business environment, organizations must employ a multi-cloud strategy for faster progression. With increasing customers running their applications on one or more clouds, data centers and the edge and the Accenture VMware Business Group will bring together the world-class teams and the expertise required with speed, agility and resilience that organizations demand, for present and future.
The new business group will launch a specialized VMware Cloud Migration Factor for migrating computing works to the cloud faster, more secured and confidentiality imbibed automated process which are finely tuned by the migration and modernization of thousands of applications.
